Spring is coming fast! The sun is shining, flowers are blooming, and the fun activities are arising. From intense sports, to leisurely walks, there is something for everyone to do. If you are the sporty type, participating in intramurals at Clark could be a great option. The main point of intramural sports are to provide an activity where students can come participate in a sport/activity, without having to commit to an actual sports team. Intramural sports range from indoor soccer to open lap swim. You don’t have to be a pro to participate in any of these sports, you just need a great attitude and a willingness to have fun. You can learn more about intramurals at Clark here.
If you are a busy student like me and don’t have too much time to sign up for extra activities, take advantage of a sunny day to take a walk around campus. This time of year is one of the prettiest times to spend exploring campus because the Japanese cherry blossom trees are blooming, and are simply beautiful to take a look at. While you are walking around, take time to stop and enjoy the beautiful Japanese Friendship Garden. It is a great spot to eat your lunch and soak up the rays of the sun.
If you are in the mood to be adventurous, follow the little colorful penguin foot prints around campus and see where they take you. If you look closely, there are three different colors of prints: blue, orange, and white. Each day I try and go on a new adventure, whether it’s a walk, a car ride, or even a new experience. It’s always fulfilling to add a little adventure to my daily routine. “There is no certainty; there is only adventure,” -Roberto Assagioli.
